MEET OUR PASTOR
TERRY SMITH
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Terry is the founding and Senior Pastor of Living Water Baptist Church. He is married to the love of his life Tammy, and they have one son and one daughter, TJ and Taylor.
His passion is to invite people into a personal relationship with Jesus and invest spiritually in people as they grow in their faith and walk with Christ. His heart for shepherding is evident as he lives out 1 Thessalonians 2:8 “…We were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”
He loves spending time with his family and is a huge Alabama football fan…Roll Tide!
He earned his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries as well as the Master of Religious Education from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. He also has a BS in Business Management from North Carolina A&T State University.

CHRIS WHITE
WORSHIP AND MEDIA PASTOR
Chris White is a Greensboro native and came to faith in Christ in April of 1995 having grown up in the church and in a Christian home. He was called to the ministry during youth camp in 1999 that by 2000 took the shape of worship ministry after learning how to play guitar. Chris has an undergrad degree in finance from UNC Greensboro and a M.Div. in Christian Ministries from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Married to the love of his life, Bri, since June 13, 2009, together they have two children – Seph (short for Joseph) and Sophie. Chris loves spending time with family and friends, play games, camping, and being a kid at heart. As a worship leader, he is passionate about encouraging and discipling God’s people to live a lifestyle of worship. Chris also owns and operates his own t-shirt printing business (Gate City Screen Printing & Apparel).
ASHLEY WIKE
CHILDREN MINISTRY DIRECTOR/ ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Ashley Wike grew up in Statesville, NC in an actively involved Christian home. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior on June 24,1997 after attending Vacation Bible School. The Lord blessed Ashley with a creative mindset and a desire to teach children at a very young age which led her call to children’s ministry. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture from UNC Greensboro, has taught children in a Christian preschool setting for over 5 years, and served in Children’s Ministry for 10+ years.
Married to her husband, Geoff, since October 2014, together they have 3 children- Vera, Valyn & Vanderbilt (twins). Ashley loves spending time with her family, teaching swim, and crafting/DIY. As a children’s ministry director, she is very passionate about sharing the Gospel and the love of Jesus with children and their families. She has a strong desire to help children learn more about Jesus, know Christ, and grow in His Word. She strives to create a nurturing environment where children can spiritually grow with their families including multiple generations in our church working together.
