The Word of God

We believe both the Old and New Testament scripture as preserved are the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God.

The One True God

The Bible teaches in the one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons,Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Three distinct persons but without division of nature, essence, or being.Co-equal in power and glory and having a distinct ministry in Gods relation to His creation and people.

The Lord Jesus Christ 

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Triune of God. Jesus is God in flesh , the “God Man”, begotten of the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, was tempted as we are, yet without sin. He gave himself in death on the cross, bearing the sins of the world , arose from the grave conquering death and ascended into Heaven as the intercessor and the advocate before the Father for all those that will receive Him as Savior.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third divine person of the Trinity that instantaneously and supernaturally indwells the hearts of those that receive the Lord Jesus as Savior.

Mandkind

We believe man is a special creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell, so that all men are sinners and in need of salvation.

Salvation 

We believe salvation is a gift, inseparable from repentance toward God and faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.We believe every person who is truly saved is eternally secure inn the Lord Jesu Christ.We believe those persons who die in their sins without Christ spend eternity in Hell and those persons who die with their sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in Heaven.

Marriage and Sexuality 

We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant, as defined in Scripture as stated in ( Gen. 2:18-25).Living Water Baptist Church believes that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male and female.These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27).The gift of gender is part of the goodness of God’s creation and rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

Sanctity of Human Life

Living Water Baptist Church believes that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image.Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre- born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage of condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend , protect, and value all human life.(Ps.139).
